Just a note from Dave Hamill to show that I am the Webmaster here. First let me say I love BTC and think it will always play an important role. Anyway, I built this Duda site and put this organization together; probably the most impressive project I have done. It is about promoting legislative monetary reforms, which of course I am in favor of. It would be a "Hirschman"s voice" path, but because of past failures getting the controllers to fix themselves, it is more likely to to result in people who learn about the philosophy through this effort organizing to build a "Hircschman's exit". That would be the crypto path; it could be called Paradime... I have the domain paradime.org but haven't built anything yet. So that is the community I would appreciate the fellowship opportunity to help build, and it will start with a DAO.
I was a board member of the Center for Economic and Social Justice cesj.org for years, but being a 501c3 we were limited as to how much fundraising and advertising we could do, so I started this 501c4 and was able to get several CESJ people to assist. We need to advertise because this philosophy has not been adequately acknowledged in academia and media since the 80s when lawyer/investment banker Louis Kelso got some coverage, including "60 minutes" segments. He was also the inventor of ESOPs, and he and his DC Counsel Norm Kurland got that law passed. Kelso passed away but Norm is in his 90s, runs CESJ, and is available to take your call (mid-day in DC) at 571-241-6900.
I also built the justiceuniversity.org (WordPress and LearnDash plugin) site but the curriculum for the free ten-session course there was written by Norm, Dawn Brohawn and Michael Greaney. They are the published authors and leaders of the movement, but they and the rest of this movement are not unified on the subject of crypto. We do already have some young sharp minds that see the crypto vision including a Central Bank of Morocco regulator Marwane El Alaoui.
I have tried to reach Balaji several times, but I know he is swamped with people trying to get his ear. I am certain, however, there is no other philosophy more aligned with his views of free market, decentralization, and crowd-funding to build autonomous communities. The power of what I bring (actually the Just Third Way movement brings) is that we don't need existing money to build these all-empowering tech supercities. Please look into this! IT IS NOT FRACTIONAL RESERVE, NOT BOOM-AND-BUST, NOT KEYNES, NOT SOCIALISM. The top-down, opaque, frivolous debt system we are now in is an exploitative, failed philosophy! Ours uses the "banking principle" to only loan money into existence for (competitively verified) feasible business transactions. The "powers that be" are suppressing this simple post-scarcity, sound-money concept. It is anti-Keynes believe it or not; because Keynes is "currency principle" creating currency first, for government waste, speculation, consumer spending and almost as an afterthought, some business transactions. That is the source of inflation, boom-and-bust, and general top-down manipulation. You could build a crypto-system based on the banking principle that empowers the tech bros and sisters that build it. You can do this without me. You could even use this to amass billions and power and punish those who are against you. Or, you can do what the world has never done. Focus on humanity's greatest word: LOVE. Corny but true. Bring me and the Just Third Way in, and we can show you how the widespread ownership component of our philosophy is just as important as the banking principle. Empower every human being to own the AI and robotics etc. of the future. THIS WILL FINALLY BRING THE ADOPTION OF CRYPTO because the wallet holders get an investment credit in the new system and the businesses must accept the crypto in every aspect of their operation in order to get the credit!! GLOBAL ADOPTION! Network State everywhere! By the way, this is also NOT MMT! It is literally the opposite, because it will bring smaller, less powerful government.
If you give this a proper hearing, and allow me to answer questions/objections, you will see Paradime Crypto deserves to be built, even if those building it do not agree that it will power a majority of business in the future. I believe otherwise but it is important even if it just becomes the tiny Mondragon of the massive tech world. Another note... you may look into what many have said about this through history, without giving me an opportunity to discuss. If so, please know there is a wide spectrum of views within this community. A Balaji-sponsored version of it would disregard those who want to mandate it and make the widespread ownership component 100% of future transactions. There are many like me who envision this as one key part of a voluntarist society, where a realistic hope is that the percentage of per capita GDP funded this way will at least match the cost of basic food and housing (and possibly healthcare) for all who choose to participate.
